The most previous studies that analyzed the wage difference between regular work and non-regular work assumed one wage function of regular work and non-regular work respectively and didn`t consider the difference of age groups within the regular and non-regular work. The age, however, is very important factor on wage decision and wage functions are different within regular and non-regular work depending on age groups. Then, this study analyzed the wage difference, inequality and poverty between regular work and non-regular work considering working hours and discrimination. And the analysis focused on the difference between age groups, youth, middle aged, middle and old aged workers. The main results are follows. The differences of wage and working hours among regular and non-regular work are big and serious between age groups within regular work or non-regular work. The discrimination reduction for non-regular work resulted in the reduction of wage inequality and poverty risk of non-regular workers. The reduction effect is very big when the working hours of non-regular workers increase as much as regular workers`. These results suggested that the differentiated policies depending on the employment status and age groups should reduce the wage inequality and poverty risk of non-regular workers.
